Problem

With transaction volumes rising rapidly, our client looked to significantly upgrade transaction infrastructure for the upcoming peak retail season and into 2022.

  • Designed a componentised solution — to spread load across multiple systems and reduce load on each individual system.
  • Leveraged Amazon Web Services — to handle highest peak loads through AWS cloud-based solutions.
  • Built in redundancy across all system components from networking to database — to increase system reliability.
  • Developed new APIs for client’s Management Information System (MIS) — to integrate seamlessly without major backend changes.
  • Improved monitoring and automatic failover systems — to preserve uptimes.
